Skin Needling Treatments

MICRONEEDLING

Clinical skin-needling (also called Collagen Induction Therapy or CIT) is a non-invasive procedure for treating scarred, damaged and ageing skin.

The treatment helps stimulate collagen growth, which strengthens the skin and restores skin tissue. Each device has micro-needles that slightly penetrate the dermis, creating tiny puncture wounds. These wounds stimulate the skin’s natural healing and regeneration processes, reducing the appearance of scarring and other damage.

Collagen and elastin give your skin its structure and strength, so their regrowth is essential for creating firmer, younger-looking skin. The result is a visibly smoother, brighter and more youthful complexion.

During treatment, after cleansing and assessing your skin and concerns, a blend of vitamins, amino acids, and hyaluronic acid will be ‘microneedled’ into your skin. The depth of the needle will depend upon your skin problem, but it will always be controlled by an electronic hand-held device.
